Pink Grout and Other Tales of Horror.

I'm from Mexico, and I am used to seeing all kinds of ordinary buildings that people paint bright colors. Pink churches, green restaurants, and orange grocery stores.  Sometimes the look of all the bright colors are fun, somtimes garish. I have been known to paint my own house in bright colors. More recently my turquoise kitchen. Rob says we live in an Easter Egg, my comment was, "well you married a Mexican."

Sohpie recently discovered coloring. She LOVES crayons. Recently I bought window crayons. How fun! Um, sure at first. Until after a fun filled five minutes of filling my kitchen windows, a light went off in Sophie and Reed's heads. You could almost see the sparks and smoke coming from their ears. I could see the thought: "If we can write on a window and not just paper, what other things can we write on and make more colorful????!!!!!! Oh the JOY! OH THE WONDER!!!!! LET US REJOICE AND BASK IN OUR NEW DISCOVERY!!! LET THE CREATIVE FREEDOM BEGIN!!!!!" And so it began, and so it continues..........

Dumb Mom........

I have not realized until recently how much my color preferences have rubbed off on my children. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser gets crayon off grout. Yes, off grout. Pink is NOT a fun or cute color for grout. Ever.

Yes that is a toilet.

Just today I was thinking about how much I love Magic Erasers. Best cleaning tool ever!! I remember when I bought window markers. We've actually come to like dry erase markers for writing notes on windows and mirrors. But, that will be for later years!!
